Though people
scorn
and scoff,

spirit never dims.
Wish I was you.
So carefree,
innocent,
so open to
everything.
I could never be.
No matter how hard
I could never pass
memories.
Never over the
bloodshed
horror
at such an age.
Were never
friends-
would never be
possible.
Yet,
when gone,
you relax.
Let out your
smile,
brighten everything.
I wish you
would smile for
me.
A/N: I...have no idea what this is. I thought of Sasuke, and how Naruto was supposed to originally be a SasuNaru manga. I also wondered how the first reaction to Sasuke seeing Naruto would be. Somehow, this also had some hints of 'what if...?' for Heero and Duo from Gundam Wing. No idea how that happened...'
Anyways, this is an attempt to get writer's block away. I need to work on my stories...! Either way, this is my first stab at poetry. I will accept any criticism, so long as it's somewhat creative. I'm thinking that I should, quite possibly, add some and make this a poetry collection...' Then again, maybe not.
