This is a small one shot for the series that we all know and love: Cowboy Bebop. Please do tell if it should remain a one shot or if elaboration would better clarify and satisfy the storyline.

Her emerald gaze closely examined the inside of the ship, her head feeling like it could explode any moment now. Jet, having committed suicide shortly after learning of Spike's death, had permitted for the funeral to allow two coffins. They housed what she had believed once to be her future and now she was alone…truly alone. Almost as eerily as the evening had presented itself, the sound of silence pervaded. She felt as though she had gone deaf and yet she didn't mind. Maybe she would go blind too and then if she was lucky she would die. Ah…if she wasn't such a coward she too would have taken the chance to jump out into space without proper equipment, but she could never. Having seen Jet's death had traumatized her and she just wouldn't be a part of something so low. In the end, after all, neither of the two had cared enough to stay alive for her so why would she care enough to die for them. She would go on living and maybe she could find happiness. She cried. This would be the last time she would cry for them. This would be a whole new beginning for her. "I will find happiness," she flinched at the essence of sound as she spoke. "I will you bastards!" She threw herself onto the sofa and sobbed into a pillow, falling asleep shortly after.
