Amy and the Doctor continued their conversation. The one that they had been having for over ten minutes whilst Rory, who stood next to the pair, had tried unsuccessfully to interject comments of his own several times.
The Roman began to grow impatient. He was being ignored.
Again.
"Doctor-" Rory began. The Doctor cut him off.
"Could you wait just a moment, Rory?" The Time Lord requested. And Rory decided right then and there, that no, he could not wait 'just a moment'.
"I WILL SPEAK UNTIL I AM HEARD!" He proclaimed, almost yelling. The bowtie wearing alien fixed him with a wide-eyed stare, apparently realizing that Rory had been trying to speak for quite some time. He recomposed himself, pulling at the lapels of his tweed jacket and clearing his throat before saying a word.
"Of course, Rory. Go ahead." He invited somewhat awkwardly. Rory nodded with force. He could talk.
