It's the most romantic night of the year and the first one that Lee & Lucy are sharing as a couple. They'd got together after Lucy had been on a disastrous date who she had called Lee more than once during the date. That's what gave them the push to admit their feelings. They have been going out for a whole month. They haven't told there parents or Tim yet.

"Lucy? Lucy?", Lee shouted whilst walking through the door.

"Hang on a minute, and lock the door before I come out", Lucy replied from their bedroom

"Why?", Lee asked intrigued.

"Just lock the door", Lucy repeated.

Lee had just finished locking the door and turned around where his eyes met a lingerie-clad Lucy. Lee stood lost in thought staring at Lucy.

"Happy Valentine's Day Lee", Lucy said seductively.

"Oh it's happy alright", Lee replied still staring

"So what have you got me then?...Hello? Ground Control to Lee?"

"Err what... oh sorry, yes your gift, please come sit down a minute", Lee said taking her by the hand and leading her to the couch.

Lucy wrapped the silk dressing gown that was laid across the back of the couch around her and sat and waited for Lee to continue. It was their first Valentines Day so Lee wanted to make an effort considering he was being a bit more thoughtful and caring these days. Lee stood up and walked to the cabinet underneath Lucy's desk where he brought out a box.

"This is your gift", Lee said handing her the box.

Lucy opened the box and was confronted with a jar and on it was a post-it note that read:

"365 Note Jar"

"Inside this jar you will find three hundred and sixty-five notes.

Each morning you can pick one out and read it to start your day with that smile

that I know & love, one a day, Lucy. No cheating. I Love you xx

Key:

Pink: Reasons Why I Love You

Blue: We're doing this

Green: Quotes & Lyrics

Yellow: Memories

Lucy finished reading the Jar and was in tears. "Lee, this is an amazing gift, how did you come up with this idea?", Lucy said sniffling her reply.

"I wanted to come up with a unique present that no other boyfriend had got you in the past for valentines day so I googled ideas and found this on Pinterest, I knew you'd love it", Lee answered.

"I love you so much", was Lucy's reply before placing the jar on the table and kissing Lee.

They stopped after a short while and Lee looked a bit disheartened until he realised what Lucy was doing.

"I picked out a pink post-it it says "your effortless beauty", Lucy read before taking Lee by the hand and leading him to their bedroom whilst kissing him passionately.

It was without a doubt the best Valentine's Day they'd ever had.
