A few hours after the sun set the pack had found a cave that they could rest in for the night. They all sat in their separate corners. Toboe sat in-between Tsume and Kiba. The purpose of this was to lessen their chances of fighting. Like some sort of living barrier Hige sat next to Kiba who was staring endlessly at the campfire they had made to stay warm. In the bright roaring light Hige noticed the way Kiba's eyes glowed, the way they appeared just as bright as the dancing flames. He wondered what he was thinking about now, probably paradise, again.

Toboe soon started complaining about being hungry. This made Tsume look up at Hige who was usually the one to complain about being hungry. Something was up between the two wolfs. He noticed Kiba was acting extra distracted lately. And Hige seemed to be getting more and more quite.

"TSUME!" Toboe finally shouted. The gray wolf grunted, it was his turn to take the runt hunting. Even though he wondered about what always seemed to happen when they left the scene. However the two wolfs left the cave for the dark moonlight world outside.

When they where out of sight Hige scooted closer to Kiba. The white wolfs eyes never left the fire. Hige slowly moved even closer capturing the captivating scent of his lover.

"Hige?" Kiba whispered without looking up. Hige wrapped his arms around Kiba and nuzzled his neck gently with his nose. Kiba sighed closeing his eyes and leaning into the brown wolf. Hige started kissing his neck softly. The white wolf growled limp with pleasure. Many moments passed by then Kiba finally looked up. Hige once again fell victim to his deep aqua eyes. A promising smile invaded his face. They kissed again more passionately now. Hige toppled over Kiba. He was in paradise, and the night was young.

Hours later Tsume and Toboe returned. The runt was carrying three rabbits, only one of which he had caught, in his. Tsume came thought the entrance of the cave, then stopped dead. He turned and saw Toboe coming up the behind him. Without really thinking he grabbed Toboe and ran. It was very difficult with Toboe yelling and kicking, but worth all the trouble after the scene he witnessed.

When he thought that they where far enough, he stopped and let the pup go. Toboe stared at Tsume quite bewildered. Tsume was leaning back against a rock panting and rubbing his forehead.

"Tsume?" Toboe asked quietly trying not to anger the gray one. "What's wrong, what did you do that for?" he asked moving slowly closer. Tsume sighed again. How was he ever going to explain this?

"

Well…let's just say some friends just need some time alone by the campfire. And its best we leave them alone." He explained. Toboe was still confused, yet he remained quite. He stared up at Tsume for a few moments. He had never noticed the gray wolf glowed in the moonlight. His golden eyes shinned like twinkling stars. He moved a little closer. Tsume turned slowly and looked at the mesmerized boy. His auburn hair and big bright eyes caught his attention also. They both moved closer and closer until it happened. They kissed. Breathless they eventually drew apart. Toboe smiled.

"We're alone" he said. Tsume now smiled.

"Yeah. I guess we just need a campfire." He said.
