Sasuke sighed and looked up at the moon. He had killed Itachi and Orochimaru, yes. But he still felt… empty. And he knew why. He just didn't want to admit it. He still needed her. And he regretted everything he had ever done to hurt her in any way. He thought he would be fine on his own, but now that he's there, he doesn't think he can take another minute of it.

The dark haired boy jumped up onto a tree branch to sleep for the night. He didn't want to be on the ground in case some stray wolves came through in the middle of the night. He closed his eyes, and leaned back. This totally... sucks. He thought. He'd never admit it, but he also missed the annoyingly loud blonde boy who'd become his best friend. He felt like the biggest idiot in the whole, freaking, world.

Sasuke opened his eyes and glared daggers up at the moon, as if that would solve his problems. He knew he needed her, but the question was… Did she still need him? She probably hates me for leaving her there like that... Should I even try to go back? Yes. I'm going to go back. I have to see her one more time before I leave. If she hates me, which is likely, then I'll leave forever and never come back. But I have to see her face one last time, so I can keep it in my mind forever...
