Hey guys! I know, its a bit too late to post this, but happy belated birthday to Vietnam (and of course, Sealand)! Hope you guys enjoy it!

I do not own hetalia or the characters.

She sits alone in her little house, pouring herself a cup of tea. Before taking a sip, she notes how quite it has been all morning. Though it was expected, she felt a slight disappointment in her heart. She didn't mind of course. Every year was the same; days go by their usual ways with no interruptions. So, what exactly was she expecting? What made today so special from other days? She takes a sip from her cup and sets it back on the table. Sure, today was the day she gained her independence from France. Sure, today was the day she reunites with her 'family'. Sure, today could be considered her 'birthday', so maybe she was expecting someone to show up to say that? Maybe she was just hoping too much. After all, she doubts they consider her a sister after being away from them for so long.

She did see them when they were young nations though; she practically raised them up with China. But they were young, and she understands that they might not even recall her ever being in their life. So why did it still hurt knowing that? She could never know, of course, since she rarely visits them anymore. It seems to her that she's become more distant, not just from them, but from everyone, and she didn't know why. Being alone for a long time gets to you, she thought. She wished though that either Taiwan, or even South Korea to come and try to visit her. She sighs, a bit heartbroken at how utterly alone she was. The silent din of her house was starting to get to her as she picked up her cup again.

"It's the same every year. Nothing different," she says out loud. Then a knock came, breaking the eerie silence. Setting down her tea again, she stood up to answer the door, wondering who would be here at such a time. She opens the door slightly, peeking out from the small crack, only to have the door slammed back into her face. She tumbles back from the force, pain surging to her face from the impact.

"Oh sorry, daze~!" The voice...could it be... She glances up to see the person, and instantly recognizes them as South Korea. He reaches out a hand to her, a smile plastered on his bright, glowing face. "Are you ok, daze~?" He asks cheeriness in his tone. The long haired Asian stares at him in disbelief, her right hand rubbing her face. "U-uh. Yes, I'm fine.." She finally says, accepting his hand to get up.

"What are you doing here, Korea?" Her honey brown eyes scan the other Asian nation, looking for any indications of why he was here. "I just wanted to go visit my sister, daze~! Is that wrong?" He says with outstretched arms, charging at her with a warm hug. "R-really? There must be more than 'visiting' me." She says, a slight blush covering her face as she receives the hug. "Ok,ok, you're right daze~. I wanted to wish you a happy birthday!" He releases her, his grin filled with warmth and admiration. She was, for once, speechless. "Y-you remembered?" She stutters, still in a bit of shock. "Of course I remember, daze! How could I forget?!"

Her blush deepens as she feels her cheeks flaming up. "T-thank you. I-I really appreciate you coming to visit..." She looks down at her feet, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to come out. "Of course, daze~! After all, you originated in me!"...was the last thing he said before she pulled out her paddle and started smacking him. Once of course, but that was enough to knock him out.
