She grabbed the broken glass, turning it over in her hand. She studied it closely, her eyes becoming blurry from the tears that she rufused to let fall. "Why..." she whispered, her voice cracking at the end. "Why? Why, God Dammit Why?" she cried, squeezing her hands into fists. Greenland gasped and dropped the glass, staring at the blood that ran out of the seeping wound in her hand.
"Why did you have to... Why did you have to do it?" she whispered, her head tilting back as she looked at the ceiling. "Why him? Why didn't you take me you God damned bastard!" she screamed. Greenland felt hands on her shoulders and heard her dead husband whisper. Her head snapped behind her, but she didn't see anything.
"Spain..." she mumbled, placing her bloody hands over her face before she let out a sob.
