Author's Note: There's actually a town in Virginia with the name Glade Spring. *slinks away*

Castiel weaved his way through the large crowd of citizens, avoiding small children and adults who were too busy speaking on their phones to watch their steps. He felt irritation at his predicament, including the circumstances leading up to it. There's a monster hiding out in Glade Spring's amusement park, they said. We could really use your help Castiel, they said. It'll be easy, they said.
(Of course, it never was and Castiel had been near them enough to have known better but he let it be said he still maintained a shred of faith.) He lost sight of the Winchesters moments after entering the park and if they called out for him he surely couldn't hear anything over the screaming from what humans deemed "rides" and the crying of irritated children. One vendor offered him "cotton candy", which was neither a fabric nor regular candy but the guy must've taken pity on him because he handed it to him without demanding currency in return for such a product.
Castiel took a tentative bite and found why humans enjoyed it.
Sam and Dean found him an hour later with a blue tongue and sugar smeared across his once pink lips.
