Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie ran along the rain soaked jogging path like she has everyday for the past four years, this time she wasn't as thrilled about her early morning jog as she usually was. Usually the jog helped her clear her head, the smell of the lilacs relaxing her. Today, the smell of lilacs was overpowered by the smell of mud and worms and this caused Mac to hate rain. Distracted by her thoughts, she ran right into the bare chest of Harmon Rabb. Glancing at the sight before her Mac thought to herself "Maybe the rain wasn't so bad."

She walked slowly back to her car as the rain showered upon her, leaving her hoping that it would wash away everything she felt for him. Why did she always let her heart lead her back to him? No matter how hard she tried to convince herself that he felt the same way she did, she knew that he didn't. If he did, he wouldn't be up there with her, while she was standing in the road watching as her world fell apart around her. Just when she thought she had lost everything but him, he disappeared.
