A/N: So I've had the nastiest writer's block for the past few months, and it totally killed me. I couldn't write a thing, and it really sucked. A lot. But a while ago, I read up on a writing challenge called Story A Day, where you write and finish a short story for every day in the month of May. I'd apparently decided I wanted to do it way back in like February, because I signed up for e-mail alerts to know when it would start.
At first, I wasn't going to go through with it because of my writer's block. But on May 1st, I was bored out of my mind in foods class at school, so I decided to at least try and write something.
This was the result.
I think it helped a lot that the Writing Club at my school had arranged for a professor of literature to come talk to us, and that really helped get me back in the groove of things.
Anyway, (geeze I love to ramble about nothing...) I also owed a friend a Fruk one-shot, so here ya go, Jace.
Disclaimer: I don't own Hetalia.
Enjoy! :)
"You're doing it wrong, Angleterre."
England frowned, keeping his attention on the bowl and ingredients in front of him. "Shut up, Frog. How could I possibly be doing it wrong? I'm stirring!"
A lean, thin hand slid down over his, gently grasping his hand and taking control of the stirring motion. "Because you are Angleterre, and in cooking, wrong is all you do." The voice said, amused but quiet in his ear. England growled softly in annoyance.
"I can cook just bloody fine, France." He said through clenched teeth.
The soft rumble of laughter echoed behind him. "And your dry humor is entertaining as always~" France replied.
England shrugged France away and turned to face him, wooden spoon stuck with cookie dough held up threateningly. "I'm warning you, Frog. I can cook just fine, and your insisted 'observations' are entirely unecces-"
He stopped abruptly, cut off by France's lips smashing into his. The Englishman's anger immediately drained, falling into the sweet kiss of his lover. When France pulled back, he flashed sultry grin at England.
"I'm teaching, not observing." he said. "And not just cooking, either."
His face flushed and his lips tingling, England murmured, "Then get over here and finish your lesson, you bloody frog." He grabbed France's collar and pulled him back, deciding that if France let him cook, he didn't mind so much his other lessons.
A/N: I forgot to say, if anyone is interested in that Story A Day challenge, I encourage you to Google it and check it out! It's not too late to sign up, and it's really a lot of fun! They provide a bunch of prompts and forums and help, and it's a great opportunity :)
I hope you liked this, and reviews always make me happy :D
