A Question to Ask
Percy and Annabeth faced a monster. A Gorgon to be exact. Percy swung his sword at it while Annabeth went behind it. Percy was suppose to be detracting it but he was detracted. Today was suppose to be the day he asked her to marry him. How was he suppose to do that with a monster attacking them?
Percy stabbed at the Gorgon but it quickly dodged it. Annabeth failed to stab it from behind making the Gorgon angry. "Annabeth, I was going to ask you something before this. Can I ask you it now?" He should just get it over with. He wasn't going to get anywhere with this monster without asking her now.
"Can it wait, Seaweed Brain?"
"No. It really can't." He swung his sword almost getting the monster but it again dodged it.
"Fine. What is it?"
"Will you marry me?" He again tried to stab the Gorgon and succeed. Yes. Finally. He quickly looked to Annabeth to see her crying. "What's wrong, Wise Girl?" He rushed to her.
"Nothing, Seaweed Brain. To answer your question. Yes." Percy hugged her. He was so happy. She wasn't crying because she didn't want to marry him. She was crying of joy. "I love you." A tear came down her face.
"I love you too." He said.
