Authors Note: Please excuse anything extremely crazy, it's midnight over here and I'm with my good buddie Allena. This is my first real story please review! Hope you like it!

Chapter 1: Don't Let Me Down
When I thought of sixth year in Hogwarts, I imagined fabulous enrichments, after all, we were two years away from leaving the school for good, no more coming back every September, leaving every June. What I did not imagine was another long year of tests, Ron Weasley still unaware of my existence, and few friends who didn't gossip behind my back. Yep, another long and dull year. Goodie.
What else I didn't imagine was Snape catching me drool over Ron. How embarrassing! Let me tell you, it was not pretty. I should've figured that he didn't appreciate being called a cockroach. It's not like I meant too! It slipped out! And I know everyone besides the Slytherins agree.
I suppose four weeks Monday detention serves me right, but I'm already backed up on homework. Not good, but what can I do? Sure I'm a tiny bit of a dare-devil, but I'm not going to sneak out of detention with Snape! Or am I?
Nah. I can't afford both Monday and Friday detention when I still have three late Charm parchments, and don't talk to me about Transfiguration. Ugh...
But the detention from McGonagall was worth it to have that one grin from Ron.
I don't know when this obsession came, or how, but since second year at least I haven't been able to focus on anyone as much as Ronald Weasley. And with good reason. I just wish he wasn't dating Hermione. She's nice and smart and pretty and great and I can't stand it! Life must go on however, and it will.
