Her days had been hectic after she returned; sign this and that, approve these. It has been a month, and a long one at that, and a break had finally come. She knew she needed it, her body making this clear, but she had to take care of something and it could no longer wait. Who knows when she would have another opprotunity? Elsa makes her way to kitchen passing through the ballroom. She closes the double doors behind her, careful to stay out of sight. The halls were dark, the stairway even more so. She arrives at the door she has been seeking but hesitates. Was it worth it? Should she just leave it alone? She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes as her hand firmly grasps the nob. Maybe she should just turn around and... too late. His eyes met hers with an intense stare. Her breath caught in her throat but she took a step forward anyway. He looked away. She continued forward. She was soon in front of him and Hans looked up with a look of disdain. The young queen glared unintentionally and he flinched. Her hard gaze softened ever so slightly. She cleared her throat and he looked towards the floor.
"I just want to know why."
