Fanfic: Hanilly (PLL)
"There's a reason we just can't go around telling the truth. Because it comes back to bite you. Hard."
Chapter 1: Just please don't say you love me, 'cause I might not say it back.
"I'm about to lose a boyfriend because of that bitch." said Hanna without thinking – like usually –.
"Well, at least he's not dead, is he?" drunk Emily attacks again.
"I'm sorry, Emily. I didn't think…" Hanna felt really stupid. Why do I always have to say stupid things? I'm fucking stupid! She thought to herself.
There was a long silence in the room. The girls didn't know how to act around Emily anymore. It felt like they couldn't talk about anything. Everything would remind Emily of Maya's death.
"Oh God, that's so stupid. Like I wouldn't know what you're all thinking. Just, fuck that shit. I'm out." Emily looked at their faces, they were paralyzed. She laughed with disgusting and left.
"Thanks a lot, Han."
"Oh, now it's my fault. Great. Thanks, Spencer."
"Stop guys, we shouldn't be fighting over this, we should find a solution." They both look at Aria. "What?" she didn't know why they were staring at her.
"Well, what's the solution?"
"I don't know, Han. That's the point."
"What?" Hanna couldn't understand, but she didn't seem to care, anyway. There's nothing you really can do when a person lost someone that close.
"Aria is trying to find a way to make Emily feels better, Hanna."
"I'm sorry; I don't think that's possible. It just takes time."

Emily felt sick, lost and betrayed. Life betrayed her. She just couldn't see the end of this mess. She was a mess.
Since Maya's death the days are mostly the same. She goes to school, doesn't pay attention in anything, she just seats there pretending she's ok. She doesn't want to look like she's broken, even though she is, the attention and the pity it's something that she just can't stand. Then, by the time she gets home, she goes straight up to her bedroom. She doesn't cry anymore.
She was lying on bed, thinking about everything and nothing at the same time. Her mom made a deal with her. She could have some space if she fed properly.
/flashback
"I'm not going to eat If I'm not hungry, Mom." She rolls her eyes and shakes her head.
"If you want space…" Pam knew exactly how to make her daughter eat.
"That's not fair."
"That's the deal. Take it or leave it."
"Ok mom."
Emily was almost sleeping when the door opened; she looked to see who it was.
"Hi Em. I'm sorry I didn't knock." Stand in there, looking a bit uncomfortable, was Paige.
"Oh, hello Paige." She gets up and smiles.
"I'm so sorry to show up like this, out of nowhere. I just miss you, and the team misses you too."
"Don't apologize. It's ok. I miss you guys as well. I'm just taking a moment to concentrate on me." She fakes a smile and seats on the bed. "Common, seat with me."
"Thank you." She seats, but no to close to Emily. She just couldn't be this close to her without wanting to grab her, and hug her, and kiss her. She wanted to take care of Emily so much, she couldn't help herself. "So, how are you doing?" She asks carefully.
"I'm fine. You don't need to worry, I'm really fine." She lies.
"I'm glad to hear that, Em." Emily smiles at her and her heart just melt. "You know, I should probably go."
"No, I mean… If you want to, okay, but… If you want to stay and just talk, that would be fine, you know." Paige gazes into Emily's eyes for a few seconds and then, they both smile to each other.
"So, coach had been tough on us."
"Sorry to hear that. I assume that's my fault." She jokes. They laugh.

"Are you going to tell me or not, Hanna?" An anger voice shouts it.
"OMG! Stop. There's nothing to tell, Caleb."
"You are so freaking unbelievable."
"There's nothing to say."
"Hanna, I love you. Please…"
"Please, don't say that." I might not say it back.
