Windows to past times

Meets my eyes

An elusive ghost

From a time long lost

Time freezes, stands still

In his gaze, I see the past

The Memory of it all

The many could have beens

All Dreams

That never came to be

An echo

Of a Lost Life

A life cut short before its time

The pain remains

Yes, it lingers still

And always will

My Beloved

In my Memory you will always stay

But then I am brought back to present times

Meet his questioning eyes

The son, for whom you gave your Life

The son, that I deep inside

Wishes was mine

But in his Eyes

I still see your lingering smile

Glimmering like emeralds in sunlight

Promising that darkness has no might

Not the final say

The Hope remains
