A/N: Happy New Year everyone! I hope you enjoy this short, but lighthearted one shot to celebrate the arrival of 2014! :)

Dudley's Boggart

Harry Potter knocked on the door of his cousin's house for the third time, feeling puzzled and slightly worried. He had arranged to join Dudley and his magical daughter Sally, and his wife, Cho, (formerly Cho Chang) when they went Diagon Alley to get Sally's school supplies for her first year at Hogwarts. He had knocked and yelled through the mail flap multiple times, but had had no answer. Harry took out his wand and muttered "alohamora". The door clicked open and Harry crossed the threshold.

"Hello? Dudley? Sally? Cho?" He called. He strained his ears, listening. Sobbing and laughter came from the kitchen. His wand raised, Harry sprinted into the kitchen to find Dudley sobbing on the floor and Cho and Sally leaning against the wall apologetic with laughter. Puzzled, Harry turned his attention to the thing before Dudley.

He recognised it immediately as a boggart. Harry had difficulty controlling his laughter. Dudley's boggart was a spotty McDonald's worker who kept repeating over and over again; "I'm sorry sir, but we do not serve Big Macs anymore. Would you prefer a salad?"

Yes, Dudley had been changed by the War. But it seemed that his very worst fear had never changed.
