It had been a few weeks now since the events with the kidnapping. Evie was sat on the sofa with her headphones in and a Suicide Squad comic on her lap. She felt a slight wind and her comic missing. She sighed, smirking - "What'dya want Speedy?"

"What's this?" He asked, holding it out for inspection - then checking out the images. "Suicide. Squad." He said slowly. "What's it about?"

She shrugged, "Band of badasses. Being Bad. Ass." She laughed, grabbing for her comic.

Piretro pulled the comic back sending her topping over him, "Nu-uh. You don't get this back... explain what's going on."

"Rude." She mumbled, turning over in his lap, "But fine... what do you wanna know?"

"Everything?" He shrugged, laying a hand on her leg.

"Well then..." She laughed, leaning back completely. "Get comfortable."

The silver haired male smiled down at her, watching her talk animatedly. She got up a few times to explain things and paced around before returning to the sofa.

After a few hours she had explained everything and was grinning like a fool. He was sat there in awe of not only the amount of information he had just received but with the enthusiasm she relieved it.

He breathed out, running a hand through his hair. "Wow..."

She looked down, "Sorry you asked... I just... geeked out..."

Piretro smiled, "No- no it's fine. I liked it. Mind letting me borrow it?" He asked, waving her comic which was still in his hands.

"Noo! You have to start at the beginning!" She smiled, "I have the comics in my room if you want?" She stretched out her hand

He nodded eagerly. "Of course." He said taking her hand and following her to her room smiling. "Thanks." He smiled at her.

"Of course." She smirked back, "You can't just half ass this though - you're in for the long haul."

He nodded. "Wouldn't expect anything else." He said, pulling her closer to him. "Wouldn't expect anything else at all." He wrapped his arms around her as she opened the door to her room.

I would like to remind you that that is my daughter. A voice boomed overhead causing Evie to hit her head lightly on the his chest.

"Dad! Hush! He knows. We all know. Chill!" She shouted at the room.

The male next to her chuckled lightly. "Don't worry Stark - I won't hurt her."

You better not. A slight whisper of a voice came from the intercom before it switched off.

Both teens laughed awkwardly. "Back to comics?" She said, smiling apologetically.

He nodded. "Yeah... back to comics."
