Mr. Linden's Library
He had warned her about the book, now it was too late. A new book store had just opened the other day in the center of town. No one could tell what had happened; it was Judy hall's funeral today. She lived alone and had barely any enemies (well as much as I know of). I am her best friend Liz Fall. I had gone to college with Judy and somehow ended up living right next to her. I do not remember anything about the night she died; it was almost like I was not home.
"Please Miss, try to remember."
"I do not remember anything!"
Because I was her next door neighbor I was a likely suspect, and it made it even worse that I did not remember anything. I was in an interview with the police; they were trying to find out everything about me. This mysterious death had made complications to my whole life. Nothing has ever happened in my peaceful town. I was scared alright but in a way happy since the friendship between Judy and I had not been going so well. Her other neighbor Kyle Sarrow was a little "loony" if I may put it that way. I would highly suspect him for Judy's death.
"I swear I was carving pumpkins that night," Kyle shouted.
"Listen Kyle, Judy Hall died and we need to know more, and besides it is almost Christmas not Halloween," Said the almost fed up Police officer.
My life had been ruined. Right there and then I decided that I could not stand this life anymore. I decided to purchase a house in the country and leave maybe in a month when all this cooled down. First I would call my mom and tell her the whole story.
The day had been rough so I went home and went to bed.
In the morning I went online and looked up houses for sale. A bright purple one, no, a bright yellow one, no, finally a nice big blue house, I decided to take that one. First I had to build up money to buy it and purchase the train tickets out. Unfortunately it would be a few more days.
I had a deep hatred for Kyle because I knew he had done it. After three or four days, when I woke up, it was announced that Kyle Sarrow was dead. I again did not remember anything from the night before.
I was scared yet again, by now I purchased the house and was packing for the train station. I left that day. I went to the library which I had become very fond of and got a book for the ride. I liked the owner very much, Mr. Linden. He was very kind.
On my way to my nice new cottage, I received a call; it was that police officer from the station.
"Dear Ms. Fall, I checked Judy's room and found a book, with evidence and fingerprints from you on it. I have checked records and found that about a year ago you were in the hospital and are sick. I do not want to be forward but mentally you were sick. The reason you do not remember anything is that you killed Judy Hall and Kyle Sarrow. There are police waiting for you at your new home."
