I was just scroling through the site and I realized that there's almost NO TorxRoberta fanfiction! C'mon, people! They're way too cute together! How can you not love that pairing? Anyway, I just really wanted to fix that, so I wrote this. Not the best fanfic ever, but I still really like it. It takes place when Tor and Roberta are in Faerieland right after they defeat the Dark Faerie Sisters and right before they go to Act 4. Just to clear that up.

Disclaimer: I don't own Neopets or any of it's characters.

He could take in all of it in the pink tinged light of Faerieland.

Her raven black hair.

Her eyes like amethysts.

Her melodic voice.

Her flawless body.

No, not just her body. Everything about her was flawless. The way she moved, the way she walked, the way she talked, the way she BREATHED.

Every time he looked at her, every time he spoke to her, every time he thought about her, he knew it was true. The one thing he had feared for his whole life was happening. As only a small child he had sworn that it would never happen to him. That it was mushy stuff. That it was stupid and corny and gross. He swore he never would, but he was doing it now.

Tormund was falling in love.

He was falling in love with Roberta of Brightvale.

Roberta the Sorceress.

Roberta.

Roberta.

Her name spun around and around in his head for hours every time he heard it. Every moment that he wasn't fighting the Darkest Faerie's minions he found himself thinking about her. Even when he WAS fighting he often had images of her face swimming around in his head. Her beautiful face that longed to touch.

He wanted to run his fingers through her silky black hair. He wanted to caress her soft cheeks. He wanted to hold her close to him.

He wanted to kiss her….

Kissing. He had feared it so much when he was young, and now… now he wanted it more than anything. More than anything he had ever wanted in his whole life. He would even give up being a knight if it meant he could be with her.

But he could never tell her that.

He could never tell her that she meant more to him than any other person in the world. He could never tell her that she had touched him in a way that he could have never imagined. He could never tell her that words couldn't even describe how much he wanted to be with her.

How much he loved her.

If he did, he didn't know what he would do if she didn't return the feelings. Even though he knew she probably didn't, he knew that if he was crushed by it he would never be able to complete the task set before him.

Until the darkness was defeated, his feelings would remain a secret. But... That didn't mean he couldn't say it as long as no one heard...

As the two heroes made their way up the stairs to Fyora's chambers, Tor breathed in an almost inaudible whisper, "I love you."

They say the magic in Faerieland can change a person. They say it can make you do unexpected things. Things you thought you could never do. Like speak your feelings you couldn't speak before. Tor knew that if anything was true in the world, this surely was.

I hope you enjoyed reading this! I really had fun writing it. I'll probably make a sequel to this. But only if poeple REVIEW! Geez, guys! I can't know what you like and don't like about my writing if you don't tell me! So review, review, review. But no flames. Flamers will be devoured by WereLupes.
