At the apartment, Daffodil is feeling sad. Clifford came in and saw Daffodil feeling depressed. He went over there to ask what was wrong.
Clifford said, "Hey Daffodil, what wrong?"
Daffodil sighed and said, "Nothing."
Clifford said, "it doesn't look like nothing."
Daffodil said, "I don't know. I just don't feel the joy."
Clifford said, "Hmm, wait, I got a big idea. Wait here Daffodil."
Clifford went to the kitchen and he grabbed some carrots for Daffodil.
Clifford said, "Here you go Daffodil. Here some nice, crispy carrot."
Daffodil said, "Oh thank you Clifford, but I'm not hungry."
Daffodil sighed and she felt like she was going to cry.
Clifford said, "Daffodil, are you crying?"
Daffodil said, "No."
Clifford said, "Hmm, wait I got another idea."
Clifford went to the toy basket and went to get Daffodil stuffed toy Bubbles.
Clifford said, "Look Daffodil, Bubbles."
Daffodil said, "Aw thanks Clifford, but I don't feel like playing."
Clifford said, "Hmm, how about if I sing you a lullaby?"
Daffodil said, "I guess that would work."
Clifford said, "Okay, here I go."

After Clifford was finished singing, Daffodil fell asleep. Clifford decided to sleep with her. He said, "Good night my sister."
And so Clifford and Daffodil slept for the rest of the night.
