Prompt: Animal I Have Become – Three Days Grace
Derek looked over at his lover who was lying beside him in the bed and couldn't help but smile. He still couldn't believe that him and Dave have been lovers for the last six months. He couldn't keep the smirk off of his face as he thought about these last six months. His eyes roamed over Dave's face and he smiled again as he thought about how content Dave looked in his sleep.
Dave could feel Derek's eyes on him and he opened his eyes a slit and said "You know staring at a person can wake them up? What are you thinking about hot stuff?"
Derek chuckled and leaned his head over and pressed his lips lightly to Dave's. "I didn't mean to wake you up baby. I was just thinking about the animal I have become since getting with you. These last six months with you have been the best time I've had in my life."
Dave rolled over onto his back and then sat up. "These last six months have been the best time I've had in my life too Derek. You mean so much to me. I know that you've said it lots of times and I have yet to say it back but I want you to know that I love you Derek."
Derek smiled and said "I know you do Dave even if you haven't said the words before now. You tell me every day that you love me with your eyes and your touch."
Dave smiled and then leaned over and captured Derek's lips in a heated kiss.
