Her brother had said no to marriage, but he didn't say no to proposing and to be her fianc`e. Nope, he did not. And what better to propose then the earth way.^^. It's the only way he knows how. Secretly buying a ring without her knowing wasn't all that difficult, It was going to earth to get it that was. He was an official member of the 13 Court Guard, which means in order to go to earth, you have to get permission from your captain. And the new captain for the 5th division isn't so keen on allowing him past. But with patience, time and a random out of the no-where question every time he saw her, payed off with a yes. But only if he brought back some new and very strange mac' and cheese which has been on the market for the last 100 years... On earth.
Now he has the ring, and his captain has her mac and cheese. Now he just needs a way to propose. On his knees would only look weird but uncharacteristic of him. How? How?
When he saw a flash of pink blur leaving the scene of a beautiful night sky with her in his arms and the stars shinning brightly surrounded by a border of beautiful leaves in the middle of the forest, he knew, this was the spot.
While she was turned to see what had been looking at them moments before he slipped the ring out of its case and on to her finger. He didn't have to say anything. With her blank expression on her face turning to realization to pure glee, he knew that she knows what the ring meant. She looked at him with a smile and love in her eye. "Yes." She said. The only words that was said, that had to be said. He smiled back, his heart becoming the weight of a feather at her smile. And a soft kiss between them.
The rest of the night and long after morning, they just looked at the sky and held each other tight. With his head on hers and their hands together, nothing would separate them. Even if they can't get married now. They don't need marriage for people to tell that they were in love. And it only took one word to make it even more obvious.
