Prologue
The one thing that people should realize about the past is that none of it is true. James Potter never married Lily Evans. Lucius Malfoy never married Narcissa Black. Bellatrix Black never married Rudolph LeStrange. These are the true stories of these individuals.
Each Pureblood family did introduction when a new child was born, especially a new heir. Bellatrix Black met her future mate, James Potter, at the age of eight. James Potter was born March 27th 1960 and was introduced to the Blacks, the Malfoys, the Snapes, and the Weasleys. Bella attended Hogwarts from September of 1961 to May of 1968. On her eighteenth birthday, she went through her family inheritance, which usually skipped a few generations and was a big deal. She became the first Black, on her side, to become a dark elf since 1800. While she was given a job to help the Unspeakables in the Department of Mysteries, James was growing up and attending Hogwarts himself and through his own inheritance as a light elf at the age of fifteen. Though they don't meet until three years later at the 1978 Graduation Party at Black manor. It was almost a sigh of relief when they came forward as mates. They were married a year later when James had finished his Auror training. Draconis Jameson Potter arrived June 5th, 1980.
Our second pairing is Lucius Malfoy and Severus Snape. With the closeness of the major families, they had met and become friends. Lucius mentored Severus through his first year at Hogwarts before leaving to start working for the International Committee for Peace. When he returned, Severus had already gone through his creature inheritance, which was vampire. It wasn't a good thing when Lucius into Black manor for the graduation party. Severus almost attacked him before James, Sirius, and Remus hit him with stunners. After explaining to Lucius what Sev had inherited, knowing the Malfoys and the Snapes had to write a contract up to have at least two sons to pass on their names. They were married a month later, even though they had technically already bonded. Ella Alena Snape-Malfoy was born July 1st, 1980.
Our final pairing is a somewhat usual one. It consists of Sirius, Remus, and Lily, all of whom met during their first day at Hogwarts. Since neither Remus or Lily grew up in the world of pureblood traditions, when Lily went through her inheritance, coming from a long line of squibs, as part demon, was a shock and Remus' being a werewolf, had been together for two years before Sirius' inheritance. Being an angel, it was a surprise when he turned to both Remus and Lily and asked them to be his a week later after getting permission from his parents to introduce them after graduation. They were married a week after James and Bella and introduced Hadrian Orion Black-Lupin on July 31st, 1980.
But what they hadn't known was that the supposed Lord of Light was trying to rid the world of all his competition. Albus Dumbledore, Lord of Light, Headmaster of Hogwarts, had everyone blind with his grandfatherly figure, when in fact he had poisoned Tom Riddle's mind to turn him into Lord Voldemort, who was the Lord of the Dark. Tom had tried to figure out what had been done with him and had gone into hiding, but Dumbledore had done was done. This last catastrophy was the worse thing that he could have done.
This group of friends, who had all just had their first children decided to have the introduction party at Malfoy manor one month after Hadrian had been born. Dumbledore plotted, planned, and it worked to perfection. Everyone's life had been ruined, now he hoped that the rest of it would fall into place little did he know that one event would destroy everything he had planned and him.
