Feratahl

Feratahl and her dragon, Envirna are at the school taught by Eragon, to teach and tutor riders. Unfortunately, there is one problem. How can Feratahl focus on this rider training, when Envirna is growing depressed by each day, and many people don't believe in her as a rider, because people see her as a weakling. Is the new dragon and rider pair a strong one?

Feratahl…Feratahl…wake up young one…Feratahl… Envirna, dragon of the rider Feratahl, part hums, part whispers through the connection through their dragon-rider bond. Envirna? Feratahl replies. What time is it? Before Envirna can reply Eragon enters the cave that they have been sleeping in. "Sorry to disturb, Feratahl and Envirna." He says, excitement in his voice. "There is someone I would like you to meet. I have brought you guys breakfast. Eat up, then come out." Feratahl is about to reply when Eragon jerks out of the cave and sprints away. Who could be this person Eragon cares so much for? Feratahl asks. Envirna responds I don't know young one…but I'm starving. So lets eat. Both Feratahl, and Envirna eat, of course Envirna much more that Feratahl, having a dragons appetite and all. Once they finish, they come outside of their cave, to see a green dragon and a pretty young elf woman, sitting on its back. The elf woman hops off her dragons back, and she lands with not even as much sound as a quiet thud. Feratahl, had arrived yesterday, coming by boat, sent from the empire, from Nasuada. Arya her name is, and her dragon Firnen greet Feratahl. Firnen then walks away and the glittering green dragon makes his way to Saphira. They both take off, and fly in circles overhead. "Nice to meet you Rider Arya." Feratahl notices the mark by her brow. "Queen of the elves. Nasuada, my queen has told me much of you." Arya laughs "Nothing from Eragon?" Eragon blushes red. "She came yesterday… so…" Eragon begins to say, but is interrupted by Arya who says to Feratahl. "Hello young rider, you are the first to be taught under Eragon Shadeslayer. You arrive here with your dragon. Tell me, what are your names?" Feratahl responds. "I am Feratahl, daughter of none, for I had lost my parents as a child." I am Envirna, daughter of the great dragon Belgabad. The biggest dragon who has ever lived, also the greatest wild dragon ever lived. However, I do not know my mother. Arya responds then, "Well then my young rider, and dragon. You will start training tomorrow. Today, we are testing you, for what you know."
