Author's Note: I do not own any of the character's from The Dark Night. I do however, own Roxanne and the plot. Also, to all of those who read my first Joker/OC story, I am taking that one off the site, as I feel this story is more of the direction I wanted to take that one. I think. I also want to thank everyone for reading and I hope you enjoy the story.

Don't look anyone in the eye. Never speak. Think, don't act. Sit there and look like a pretty little thing. These were the things her father had told her. She wanted to tell him to take his rules and shove them up a certain part of his anatomy. But she didn't. She kept her mouth shut. She knew what Daddy would do if she opened her mouth. She didn't want that. Not again. Roxanne closed her eyes and sighed. She was allowed in these 'meetings' with her father only as eye candy to the criminals he associated with.
"If they're staring and thinking about you they're more likely to agree to a lower rate. It's just business, sweetheart. Sooner or later you'll learn how to use that hot little body of yours to get what you want."
Roxanne shuddered at the memory. She hated that man. He wasn't a father; he was a cruel and sadistic man, much like the one her father was about to meet with. He was a corrupt man. A high standing business man her father owned several shipping companies in and around Gotham. What most people didn't know was that he used his shipping business to smuggle drugs into the city. What he wanted with the Joker she had no idea. The door to her father's office opened.
"Come in Mr. Joker, sir. We have much to discuss." Her father walked in, ushering a man in behind him. The man was tall, had greenish blond hair that hung in limp greasy waves, was wearing a purple suit, and had thick clown makeup covering his face. A bright red lipstick smile covered the two grotesque scars at the corners of his mouth. Roxanne had seen him on the news, but in real life he was much more frightening. On t.v. he just looked like a clown freak; but there, standing before her Roxanne could see why he scared so many people. He looked crazy. Roxanne closed her eyes. Shut up Roxanne. You're not scared of this man. You've seen people like him before; he's nothing special. Under that makeup you know he's just flesh and blood.
The man took a seat in a plush armchair as her father came around to sit behind his desk. The Joker glanced over at her, and caught her gaze. Roxanne looked straight into his dark, dark eyes. She wouldn't let the Joker intimidate her into looking away first. The only man she ever looked away from was her father. A small smirk played onto the Joker's lips.
"Who's the beauty in the corner?" He asked. Roxanne's father shot a dirty look her way.
"That's just my daughter. She helps with the secretary work. Don't worry, she'll just sit quietly in her corner, you won't even notice she's there." Her father gave her one last pointed look and turned back to the Joker.
"Now, Mr. Joker, I'm sure you are aware of the underground drug company I run. That company is currently running low on the supplies it needs. And thanks to several of Batman's recent exploits I haven't been able to find very reliable help, to steal the chemicals. That's where you come in. I want you to break into the Medical Division of Wayne Enterprises and steal several tons of the chemicals on this list." Motioning to Roxanne, she handed the list of chemicals her father had given her to the Joker. As he took the list from her, he grabbed the tips of her fingers. Roxanne glared at him and tugged her hand away; an even bigger smile spread on his face. He glanced at the list then back at her father, who was keenly awaiting the Joker's answer.
"Wouldn't it ahh simply be easier to buy these chemicals?" Her father's big deep laughter burst out across the room.
"Ahh, my good sir, if I bought these chemicals, I almost wouldn't make a profit. Plus, if I bought these chemicals Wayne Enterprises would certainly look into it, and I can't have that." The Joker quickly contemplated her father's offer.
"What's in it for me?"
"Whatever you would like." Her father smiled, moving to take out the suitcase of cash under his desk. The Joker's eyes landed on Roxanne. He grinned like a Chesire cat and she realized what his price was.
"I want your daughter."
