Shadow, for some reason, was walking by Station Square looking for an ammunition store. Swinging his head back and forth, he slowly started to realize that it was probably a bad idea to look for the store in this area. But something caught his eye. By Victoria Secret, he spotted a certain pink hedgehog holding a large load of shopping bags.

There was something about her in that exact moment that made him take a second look. The sunlight was angled in such a way, giving her eyes a slight dazzle. Her quills swayed in wind. The way she walked was gracious as he had the sudden urge to talk to her.

It was as if everything was moving at a slow pace. Maybe it was Shadow's mind over-analyzing everything. Either way, he felt his feet taking a few steps forward. Amy seemed to notice, because she rolled her emerald eyes at him.

"Why are you here Shadow?"

Snapping out his trance, he silently cursed at his actions.

"Getting away from you... CHAOS CONTROL!"

A bright flash of light enveloped his figure then dispersed. He was now inside the familiar GUN HQ.

"Now, where's those ammo?"

Approximately 200 years later

Silver was enjoying the local park when he spotted a black figure sitting by a fountain. He walked closer, noticing a few red stripes on the person.

"S-Shadow?!"

The Ultimate Lifeform looked up to Silver, but instead of the usual frown, bags were beneath his eyes.

"I can't believe I didn't notice sooner."

"Wait, did you time travel?! 'Cause I want you to meet some of my friends-"

"NO YOU IDIOT! I'M IMMORTAL!"

"Oh yeeeaaaah. So, why do you look so... Sad? Then again you always look depressed."

"Silver, I want you to go back in time and tell Amy that I..."

"You what? And why can't you do it yourself?!"

"I am a hedgehog build on honor. I will not destroy that honor just because of some pathetic situation."

"How pathetic?"

"What if I tell you that I... have feelings for her?" Shadow said, trying to contain his embarrassment.

"WHOOOA! YOU! AND HER! YOU LYING BRA!"

"Just tell her before I lose my temper..."

"Wait why didn't you realize this before her death, which may I mention was about 100 years ago."

"I-I was build to be a bit... stubborn"

"Well dude, you're screwed."
