Lavender
If you would have asked Aaron Cross what he thought about lavender a year ago, he would have said it's a purple plant. That would have been the end of it. You can't blame him. He it's a guy, a soldier. He wouldn't associate the smell of lavender with any thing. Well, that was until he met Marta. Aaron loves the smell of lavender. Marta washes her hair with a shampoo that has a faint lavender smell to it. Her perfume also smells of lavender. The first time Aaron smelt it on her was when they were in the car together, leaving her burning house. He would have asked her about it then but he thought it inappropriate giving the circumstances. So he pushed it the back of his mind. The next time he noticed it was when she was about to vaccinate him with the viral green pill. She already looked extremely nervous and sort of scared so he thought it better to not say anything. He also noticed it in the run down room Marta was able to find them. But the fever that was cooking his brain made it impossible for him to think a full sentence let alone say one. He passed out thinking of that smell he would always come to think Marta by. (and he didn't even know what it was called) the time he did ask her about it was when they were on the boat. When he asked her what that scent was she told him of the soaps and air freshners that use it. Months later when Marta got out of the shower and crawled into bed with Aaron, he hugged her to his chest and took in a deep breath of what was suspost to be lavender\Marta.. turned out to be… furity? Marta opened her eyes just as Aaron made that god offal face of someone who didn't get what they were expecting. And bust into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. Aaron got out of bed and walked the bathroom shower, reached in a pulled out a strawberry scented shampoo bottle. He walked back into the bedroom to ask Marta why was that in the shower and why would she ever replace the lavender. By this point Marta had stopped her snorting and was looking towards the bathroom where Aaron disappeared. "Its strawberry" she said. "Yes I know what it is . what I don't know is why is it here" he clarified. "The didn't have lavender babe" she said to him. he let out all of his breath like a pouting child and reluctantly put the bottle back. He curled his body around her and murmured, "we are going back to the store tomorrow to find lavender." Marta just smiled and said "ok baby what ever you want"
Yeah aaron defently likes lavender.
