Iago sees Enric walking away with another guy. What is he doing? Iago has to find out what is going on. He started walking forward. "Enric" Iago hollered. Enric stops, so does the guy he's with. He seems surprised to hear his name being called. There is a slight frown on his face. He doesn't know Iago.
"Yes?" Enric answers. Iago stopping a couple of feet from him. Enric is about as small as Max. "I'm looking for Max." Iago wants to say, "When I saw you I thought he might be meeting you" he thoughtit might give away too much. "Is he here?" Iago looks around, he knows full well Max isn't. "No. I haven't seen him." Enric states back.
Enric looks like a boy, he seems younger than Max somehow. Is it because of how small he is? No. He has a look on his face. Cool. How he answered the question had the same indication. His tone was relaxed. He doesn't know. He's not concerned about where Max might be? Don't they call or keep in touch in case they want to meet somewhere? Enric seems immature. Its in how he answered the question. Too aloof. Is Enric going to hook up with this guy? You don't kiss a family member like Enric kissed this guy. "Are you sure?" Iago looks at his watch, he knows what time it is, Max would be out of school by now. He wanted Enric to think he didnt know what time it is.
Enric has a slight smile on his face. One he's seen before from girls who had liked him in the past. Enric is thinking of Iago as a possible? Iago doesn't finish the thought. Iago doesn't like it. Enric doesn't know where Max is or does he care. What is with him? Did he know how lucky he is to have a guy like Max? Loyal, smart, insanely attractive. Does Enric know him and Max have been together? Does Enric know since that night with Max, Iago has not been able to stop thinking about him? How many times he's thought about Max since that night. Every time he heard Max's voice, even of it was in his head, how Max's voice made him feel, every time he thought about their time at the kiosk, every time he thought about the first time he'd kissed him, how not only he'd wanted to remember it but the look on Max's face and knew Max was going to remember it too. Every time he was in the same room with Max and wanted to be right next to him. Iago gathers by Enric's look he doesn't know he has been with Max. Would Iago get to see the look on Enric's face when he found out? Would Iago get to tell Enric himself? Would that take the look off his face?
No, he couldn't do that to Max. He cant throw Max under the bus like that. He'd be no better than Enric if he did. As much as it burned him, Max deservs to tell Enric himself. To have it come from him. "I'll bump into him sooner or later." Enric's attention going back to the guy next to him, they walk off together. Enric is so cool about it. He is cheating on Max and he doesn't care. Iago is stunned, almost dumbfounded by it. How can he not care? If Iago even came close to having a guy like Max he couldn't possibly think of seeing someone else. How can Enric walk off with some other guy like its no big deal. He is cheating. He is out of his mind. Enric isn't going to tell Max about this. By the looks of it, he isn't going to. He needs to know.
