Another multi-chaptered story, it focuses on what Sango does to Inu-Yasha
and Shippo. Rated for content.

Inu-Yasha sighed. It had been two weeks since Kagome had gone to her time. He hadn't bothered to go get her. He hadn't really wanted to do anything for the past week and a half. He sat in his tree, high up away from people. He enjoyed the soft breeze that was blowing in his hair, making a few strands tickle his face. He loved the sound of the birds flying, the water in the river flowing, and the sound that the gentle breeze made in his ears. Everything was perfect. He sniffed the air. Nope, no Kagome. But he smelt Miroku, Sango, and Shippo coming his way. He climbed higher, away from them. There were just some times when he wanted to be alone. He heard Shippo call his name. Well, that was the end of his solitary company.
His feet made a soft thud as he landed next to Shippo, startling the young youkai. Shippo looked up at Inu-Yasha.
"Aren't you going to get Kagome? I miss her!" Shippo looked down at the ground. Inu-Yasha knelt besides Shippo.
"I was going to get her now. I'll be back with her in a flash." Inu- Yasha began to walk to the well. Sango quietly called Kirara and sprang onto her back. Sango made Kirara rush at full speed to the well, before Inu-Yasha did.
Kagome looked to the well. Inu-Yasha hadn't been there for days, and she was worried. Usually, the hanyou would have dragged her back in three days. Maybe Inu-Yasha was hurt. Maybe he was in battle with Naraku, far away from the well. Or maybe, he was. . .dead. Kagome shook off the thought. Inu-Yasha wouldn't die easily, he would put up a hell of a fight before going down. So, Kagome waited. Just then, the phone rang. Her friend, Yuka, and Kagome spent hours talking on the phone, making Kagome put the thought of Inu-Yasha and the others aside, for now.
Inu-Yasha finally made his way to the well. He was surprised when he saw Sango standing on the lip of the well, Hiraikotsu placed for throwing. She had a wicked smile on her face. Inu-Yasha didn't draw his sword.
"So Inu-Yasha, going to see Kagome? Isn't that sweet. Nothing but a dog returning to its master. Is that what you are, a pet?"
"Sango, why do you say such things?" he had his hand on Tetsusaiga's handle, ready to unsheathe it. Sango took out a powder and threw it on the ground. She had her face covered in her mask as the powder surrounded both of them. Inu-Yasha began to feel dizzy. He began to black out. The last thing he saw was Sango reaching for some chains. . . ************************************************************* Don't ask me were I got this idea from. But next time, it's Shippo's turn, and the return of Kagome!
