Not Just Another Casualty

He clutched the broken camera and cried. His brother lay beside him, his uniform tinged with blood, his eyes cold and lifeless.

Another casualty of the war, another name to go in history but, a person to be forgotten. They would all talk about him – about the brave sixth year who died for a world that never really knew him. They would talk about the misunderstood boy with camera, who died standing up for what he believed in. They wouldn't remember his name, or the way he could capture a moment with that 'stupid camera'that he always carried around. They wouldn't think about his family and what they lost. They wouldn't remember all of the good that he did – all of the times he made someone smile or laugh.

To them he would just be another Gryffindor – another person – another casualty.

But not to Dennis, he promised himself he would never forget. He would always admire his brother, always.
