Why so few Kekkaishi fics? Not good enough for ya?

Although he needed his sleep (and needed it badly), there were days when he just couldn't sleep. When he just couldn't get a decent nap's sleep.
Most of the days that happened, he just let his mind wander. In part because he couldn't be bothered to stop it, but also in the hope that he might stumble onto the solution to a problem or that relaxing like that would let him fall asleep.
Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't.
One day he had come to the realization that he didn't just care for Tokine, he truly loved her. The realization wasn't really a surprise, the feelings weren't new, he'd had them since forever and a day ago, the fact that he had to come to the realization was more surprising.
He loved the sway of her hair, loved how casual she could be without having an immodest bone in her body, loved her contradictory caring/violent nature, loved her perfectionism, loved the colour of her skin, loved how she could be spitefully cold, loved how she looked when she was being spitefully cold, loved how she walked, loved the sound of her voice, loved how she had felt when he'd caught her, loved the warm brightness of her smile, loved how she was every feminine person he had ever needed in his life, loved how she got along with his little brother as if she couldn't quite not view him as her own, loved how she always forgave him as soon as she had informed him she was very mad at him.
It wasn't senseless love at all, nothing of the sort, it was very reasonable and most people taking a cursory glance at their relationship and history would probably understand if he told them he was in love with her. Someone looking closer might get confused only to suddenly see things in focus once more.
In the end it didn't matter what anyone else thought, it didn't matter what he loved about her, or why, only that he did. Only that he was head over heels for her.
"Head over heels…" he muttered, staring up at the ridiculously blue sky. "Since forever ago."
… Well, hope you didn't get a heart-attack from the fatty cheese, suffocated on all the fluff or had all your teeth rot straight out of your mouth. And that you enjoyed my foray into the Kekkaishi fandom.
Please review and tell me what you liked/disliked. ^_^
