Once there was a boy who didn't like a girl, who I knew
Once there was a boy who didn't like a girl, who I knew
Once there was a girl who I knew, who liked a boy who didn't like her
And once there was a girl who seemed like a mutual friend of the two, who I knew
Once the girl told (the boy who I knew who doesn't like a girl I knew)
Once the boy confirmed her suspicions of him not liking her by an awkward "no"
Then the "mutual friend" laughed to herself and took the girl's old spot of the boy's good friend
Once the girl got tired of perusing the boy, she told the friend she didn't want him anymore
Then the girl who was a mutual friend confirmed the girl's other suspicion of the friend liking him too
Almost instantly, the friend moved in on the boy who didn't like a girl who I knew
This broke the heart of the girl that I once knew
It made her cry (on the inside, cuz, she'd never let anyone know)
Now the friend's friends (who are friends with the girl who I once knew also) were all happy for the friend about her "victory" (of course there were 2 good friends, myself and another, who tried to console the girl who I once knew)
The girl kept crying (on the inside) cuz the friend kept flaunting EVERY LITTLE DETAIL about the boy and her conversations on the phone with the boy(mind you readers, the boy and friend are NOT going out)
So the girl eventually got over him, and the friend eventually got over him too, and the boy didn't even notice one little thing that had passed between the girl and their mutual friend…
If there is a lesson to be learned it is that you should DEFINITELY watch out for what your friends are doing behind your back
