The guild hall may have been in shambles, broken boards and shattered glass strewn about the building, but at least they were all alive.

Mirajane surveyed the scene, hand resting on her injuried chest as she looked upon the worn faces of her guild battle had been hard fought, lives lost, but in the end they had found themselves victorious against Zeref himself. Her eyes softened as she watched Lucy hold Natsu as the two sobbed, the boy's life miraculously spared though at a cost none of them wished to remember, as it was too hard to accept what happened…

"You okay?"

Cana's voice drew her gaze to the woman at her side. She must have missed the brunette's approach while lost in her thoughts, and was glad to see that she had made it out of the fight unscathed. Cana was very important to her and she to Cana, though neither of them had made the move to start any sort of relationship. The time just hadn't been right before this, and who knew when it finally would be…

"I'm alright."

Cana looked unconvinced as she glanced to the injury. "You should get that looked at and wrapped up."

It was true. The injury was still bleeding slightly due to her fighting back in the battle and it had been spattered and smeared with dust and grim that could easily lead to an infection. However, there were others far worse off than she was; Levy was wheezing from the particles she had breathed in, Laxus had more sores and wounds on him than she had seen in a long time, and Erza, for all her bravado in the fight, was severely injured internally. She could wait until they and the others were seen to, no matter how long it may take.

Cana seemed to realize where her train of thought had headed, as the brunette woman shook her head. "Mira, if you won't let Porlyusica look at it now, at least let me put something on it until she can."

Nodding, she allowed Cana to lead her over near the medical supplies. The card mage quickly grabbed a salve then stopped, remembering where the injury was.

"Are you okay with me applying this?"

"Of course." Mira moved the tatters of her shirt aside to allow the other woman easier access to her wounded chest.

The minute Cana's fingers touched her skin, she hissed with pain, the salve stinging as it killed germs, though the cooling sensation of the ointment soon took over. It was a slightly intimate moment, Cana's fingers softly dancing around the injury and trying to avoid touching her breast more than necessary. The wound oozed with fresh blood as Cana pressed gently on it, trying to make sure it was covered evenly with the healing ointment. She took a soft cloth to dab the new blood away, then inspected her work.

"Well, that should help until you've had it looked at." Carefully, Cana wrapped the wound, having Mira lift her arm and hold back the tatters of her top.

"Thank you." Mira smiled up at her, then tentatively reached out to take one of the girl's hands in her own. She gave a small squeeze. "So, what do you think will happen now that the war is over?"

Cana gave her an easy smile, lacing their fingers together. "That's an easy one. We'll rebuild the guildhall like we always do and push on. That's the Fairy Tail way, after all."

Mira looked at their entwined hands with a hopeful look in her eyes and nodded. "You're right; that's the Fairy Tail way."
