Merry belated Christmas! Happy New Year/New Years Eve! I hope that your upcoming year is awesome and sort of relaxing in terms of how well it goes! I rewatched this movie, and I couldn't help but to listen to Panic At The Disco as I wrote this, and once I found my inspiration, this came out of it! I hope that you like this, and that I succeeded at writing it as I've never written any Nightmare Before Christmas fanfics before, and I've just wanted to make something that you'd really, really enjoy! I do hope that you'll like this.
Sally's hair cascaded down upon Jack's frame as the day slowly awoke to the world.
She mumbled half in her sleep as she leaned further against him, cuddling in to his frame and form with a desire to let this all melt away to where only they could reside.
Sally loved Jack from his clay like skull down to his skeletal feet, and she did not want to move, to separate this moment of only them to get up for the brand new day.
Night was when they came out to play and cause fright, so may be there was a valid reason to stay for at least a couple hours until the mail would force them out of bed, and potentially the desire and will to deal with everything else including the gentle heat of the day as hours became like minutes to them.
Sally smiled faintly as she moved closer to Jack and the warmth caused by two people cuddling in the wee hours of the morning.
"I love you." Jack smiled at her from beside her frame.
"I love you, too." Sally smiled as she cuddled closer to him; couldn't the day stay early and keep them comfortable here?
Jack wrapped his arms around her and held Sally closer towards his gentle form; the beautiful comfort of another soothed any restlessness and left behind any desire to crawl out of bed and begin the day before them.
Sally hoped that they wouldn't be disturbed in this gentle moment though she knew that they would be soon enough as the mail began to be delivered; was love and comfort really an oddity in this town?
She knew it to be, but she couldn't resist the sweetness of this gentle and almost lazy seeming moment; Sally decided that the day could wait as she chose instead to stay here in bed as if the upcoming day didn't matter in the least to their comfort.
