Why Vincent's Never Married
…
It was springtime and Vincent Valentine sat peacefully by the stump of a cherry blossom tree. While busy cleaning his Death Penalty, he tried to ignore Yuffie Kisaragi, hanging idly upside down on one of the tree's branches.
Yuffie, with her all-too-cheerful grin, had a question to ask the tall raven-haired gentleman.
"Hey Vincent," she said, waving her arms to gain his attention, "how come you've never gotten married?"
"Maybe it's because I like guns too much." Vincent replied, continuing to polish his rifle.
"Well, you could be married AND still have a lot of guns."
Vincent paused, shifting his eyes to Yuffie, then back to his rifle…back to Yuffie again, back to his rifle again….back to Yuffie once more, and then back to his rifle one last time…before answering:
"I didn't know that."
