NOTES: I was thinking about this story during milking, so I decided to write it.
General landry gave SG1 three days down time, since they hardly had time off in the last six months. Sam was home for those days off. Both her and Jack have been in a romantic relation ship for six months now, they hardly see one another cause with him being in Washington and with her at the SGC.
Whenever she has time she gives him a call to see how his day been, but manly to here his voice that she miss since his move seven months ago. They both knew it was going to be hard, but they knew they can do it.
Sam sold her house and brought Jack place. She knew that he love the place, and there been lots of happy memories in the house, they why she brought it.
It was 0800 on the fourteenth when the doorbell rang, so she answered it.
"Hello, can I help you?"
"Yes are you Samantha Carter?"
"Yes"
"Can you sign this please" he past the board to her, she sign it and past it back. Then he looked at it
"I'll be right back" he left to head to his van.
Sam watches him open the boot and pulled out four dozen long stem red roses with four helium balloons attach to them. Sam eyes widen when she saw them. The guy careful walked up the steps to the door.
"Here you go ma'am, happy Valentine day" He pass them to Sam
"Thank you" He smiled and left.
Sam steps back and close the door the door. She walked into the dinning and put them on the table, then she went to get a crystal valse that Jack got her for Christmas last year.
She filled it up with water then return to put them in it and put it in the middle of the dinning table. She saw the card in between them so she pulled it out and opened it. She read the cover of it.
What is love?
Love always sees the heart in a person.
Love celebrates ordinary moments.
Love isn't afraid of being honest.
Love knows how to be playful.
Love never gives up.
Love is good at shearing.
Love trusts and comforts. Love can change a world.
Sam smiles when she read the words, the she open the card and reads.
