Percy POV
As I was driving to Camp Jupiter from Camp Half-Blood, I needed to go to the bathroom, so I stopped in Seattle, where I was attacked by Kelli and her herd of empousi. Before I killed Kelli, she wounded me. After I killed her, I found a river, and hung out in it for a couple of hours talking to a river trout named Fred. Later, after I was back in the car, at McDonald's. While at McDonald's, this mortal came in with a gun and shoot the place up. He only managed to shoot one person before I tackled him and knocked him out, but he managed to shoot me three times in the leg, side and arm. I was unconscious within a minute.
Poseidon/Owen Hunt POV
When we got the call about two wounded people coming in with bullet wounds, I knew that Percy was passing through Seattle on his way to Camp Jupiter for the week. So, I did not tell Sally or Christina as she is known here about the wounded people until I knew who they were. When I was getting ready, I was worried about who they are. "John Doe, seventeen years old, male, a really bad fear of needles. Shoot in three places, his stomach, upper right arm, and upper right leg. Who has been muttering something about a Fred."
