and start a new beginning

And the affection you made me feel.

You filled my days with glimmering lights
Wonderful, sweet dreams at night.
You kiss me to wipe off my tears
and hug me to lessen my fears.

You were there by my side
Every time I feel so sad
to comfort and understand
the problems and trials I had.

You always make me happy
and prevent me from being lonely
with your funny jokes and tricks
that can cure anyone who's sick.
