Immortal Agony

I am bleeding on the inside

I am stinging on the outside

I cringe at the site of you

Why don't you just leave me to

Be alone as I bleed

Turn around take your steed

Each time you stab me

The pain again runs through me

Each time you kill me

I live but don't really

Shadowing the ones before me

That is all I signify

The blood is coming out now

The pain is too much for me to ask why

I watch the dead ones before me go

I wish I could follow the light they show

All I can feel is pain

Everything lost but nothing gained

I sit alone

Under the blackened sky

Wondering why I can't just die

I am trapped behind the non-rusted bars

Never scathed and never scarred

After the pain is taken away

Oh how I wish it was here to stay

I watch myself bleed

I slam the wall with my fist

If you can just live forever

Does that mean that you exist?
