A/N: Yay! My first drabble (or something like that :D). Please review!
"Cas? What the hell is that?", Dean asked while eying the slice of whatever it was on his plate suspiciously.
"That's obviously a pie, Dean. I made it for you!" Castiel replied with a genuine smile on his face and his voice thick with pride. He found an old recipe book in a shelf somewhere and looked trough it and found a recipe that said 'The best cherry-pie on earth!' and knowing Dean loves pies he just had to try and make one. And that's why this was the first thing he ever tried to cook – or bake in this case – and he gave it his very best. He handed Dean a fork and his eyes widened with anticipation as he watched him take the first bite. He held his breath for a few seconds before asking "How is it?"
Dean chewed a few times, swallowed hard and for the slightest of a second Castiel could see a disgusted expression on his face before Dean smiled at him and said "Dude, that's awesome!" in a cheerful tone. Cas' genuine smile faded away and he sighed disappointed. He didn't want to force Dean to eat something that was obviously disgusting and so he took the plate from him and threw the pie into the trash. "What are you doin' Cas?! Don't throw it away, I want to eat that!", Dean snorted and jumped to his feet throwing his arms up in protest.
"You don't want to eat it. Don't lie to me Dean.", Cas sighed again, "I could see how awful it tastes, it was written all over your face." He glanced at Dean and smiled sadly, "I'm sorry Dean, I'm gonna try even harder for the next one."
The green-eyed was at a loss for words. He silently made his way over to Cas and wrapped his strong arms around Cas. "I really wanted to eat is Cas. This pie is something special." Cas looked at Dean disbelievingly. "How can that be special? It doesn't taste good." Cas tilted his head in confusion as he heard Dean chuckle lightly.
"It is special. Because you made it for me, and that's what makes it special.", he whispered against Cas' lips and kissed him lovingly.
