I wasn't always there to pick you up every time you fall. I wanted you to stand up on your own, to feel your own victory, without me, or anybody whom you would feel indebted to. I am always there, but I wished you to be everything you could be. And I knew that would not be possible if I made myself known.
I will always be there. Silent, but nevertheless there.
I am not as cold, as you may see me. Only still, as you need me to be.
