Author Note: So in honor of Easter, I decided to write a new storyline with Callen's family. There will be a new storyline in a couple of weeks. I hope that you enjoy this.
The night before Easter
Callen and Katie were working on putting their kids' Easter eggs together and their easter basket together. They got it finished and then climb into the bed.
Easter morning
Callen woke up and started to get their children ready to go. He was letting Katie to sleep in a little. However, Katie was already awake and getting ready to get in the car with their kids. He finally comes into the room to find her just finishing up.
"Babe, I was just coming to wake you up." Callen walks over to her and gives her a good morning kiss. The kids came into their room and jump on the bed.
"Happy Easter mommy" The kids say together. They each got a good morning kiss from her and a hug. "Can we go on?"
"yes." Katie says as they get off the bed and head to the car. He helped her by putting the Easter things into the back of the car. They get over to Sam's in about 15 minutes and start having fun.
Katie and Michelle were sitting on the chairs outside watching the kids get the eggs that Sam and Callen hid.
"Thanks for coming over." Michelle tells her and turns her attention back towards the kids. "hey be careful."
They got done with the eggs and enjoyed the dinner. Callen walks towards Sam and smiles.
"What?" Sam questions his parnter.
"This is nice since we don't have a case." Callen responds back to him.
"Not yet that it is." Sam said to him. There was still a chance that they might have a case. They finish their day together. Callen and Katie took their kids back home and into bed. Tomorrow was another day.
