"Are you serious?"asked Lan. "Yes, you and Chaud will need extra help during battle," said Mr. Famous. Lan made a face. "You will need to stop at the lab this afternoon," Mr. Famous was done speaking. Lan quickly stopped at his dad's lab to meet this new Net saver. "Lan," said Chaud. "Did Mr. Famous contact you also?" asked Chaud. "Yeah, a new Net saver." "Chaud, Lad. I would like you to meet, Mara and Dice," said Lad's father. Chaud and Lan looked surprised that it was a girl instead of a guy. Mara had long brown hair and violet eyes. She had a short sleeved shirt and long blue jeans. She looked hardcore. She didn't smile or speak at all. "I'm Lan and this is Chaud," spoke Lad. "I know that," she said. "She's scary," whispered Lan to Chaud. "What did you say?" asked Mara. "N-nothing," Chaud smiled. "Mara, let me take a look at your PET for a minute," asked Mr. Hikari. She pulled it out and handed it to him. Her PET was a jet black color. Chaud and Lan sat in a seat. "She's serious, it looks like she is not an immature person," said Chaud. "Yeah, although she looks like she doesn't enjoy herself." "It looks like her Net Navi is powerful," added Chaud. Mara walked up to them. "What do you guys do when there ISN'T danger?" asked Mara. She looked clueless by the look on her face. "How about if we hang out for a while," said Lad. "O-okey," said Mara. Chaud agreed. Mara pulled out a cell phone and called someone. "I'm at the lab, be here in five," said Mara. "Whom did you call?" asked Lan. "My driver," "another rich person," mumbled Lan.
