Dear Diary,
Today I saw a most wonderful thing! When I was out on my noontime stroll downtown, I spotted Allison and Fiona having lunch together. With tact and subtlety, I observed them as they dined on the finest of foods, looking lovingly at one another.
Yes, I'm sure of it! They were indeed on a date! My ship has set sail!
I watched, entranced. But then: They vanished! But the closing door gave them away!
Playing dumb, I asked them politely how their day had been. They didn't seem to hear me though, and they walked off. I can only hope they went somewhere private and kissed…
Oh, and I forgot to buy milk again! I have to remember to do that tomorrow!
