Hurt a Jenna Middleton/Kenna Oneshot
Jenna Middleton sat on her bed in her room, thinking about her (ex) boyfriend, KC Guthrie. They had just broken up. Why? Because he blamed her for everything bad that had happened in his life since they met. Losing Clare, Coach Carson, Cheating, the list went on. They had a huge fight, and broke up.
But, really, what did she expect? Yes, she had "helped" with KC and Clare breaking up, but so did Coach Carson. She had absolutely nothing to do with Coach Carson being a psycho pervert (as far as she could tell, at least). And, yes, she had given KC the idea to cheat off Clare, but he was the one that made the final decision to.
What really made her sick was how hurt she was by this. Normally, when she and a guy broke up, she'd bounce over to the next one, feeling little to no remorse about the breakup. With KC, it was different.
KC had made her feel special, loved, beautiful, someone he could go to with his problems and have her help him figure it out. But, now she was just wondering if he ever really liked her at all. Sure, she knew there was the physical attraction, but did he like her beyond that? Two weeks ago she would've said yes, but now she wasn't so sure.
Then, a thought came creeping up from the back of her mind that made the tears that she was trying to hold back break free. The thought was a memory of a couple weeks ago, she and KC were sitting on Jenna's couch and watching a movie, and Jenna had thought that everything that had happened to them had been worth it. That true love was worth fighting for.
True love. She thought bitterly. What a joke. At least for me, it is.
She laid there, curled up on her bed, crying and thinking about the boy she loved and the boy she lost. She felt the hurt and betrayal that she got for loving KC.
She also thought that maybe, she deserved it.
And… done! This is kinda a companion to "Different" but it can be read as a stand-alone. What did you guys think? Review.
And, as for my thoughts on Jenna, I like her. I don't know why, because it seems like everybody hates her because of what happened with the love triangle between her, KC, and Clare, and the cheating thing. But I also think that KC deserves some of the blame, too. And I like KC.
But, back to the story… I really hope you guys like it. I don't really know where the inspiration came from.
Disclaimer: I don't own Degrassi, because, if I did, Declan would have a story line other than Holly J relationship stuff (and I love them together), Fiona would have an actual story line, and Zane would stay on the show and he and Riley would stay together through anything. So, basically, I don't own Degrassi, it belongs to whoever created it, along with the characters. But I do own the plot.
