I always knew that Shun was going to disappear someday.
That's the reason I started memorizing him.
The way he smiles, the sound of his voice, his laughter.
The way that he smiles especially. The slight upturn of his lips, so slight that almost nobody noticed it. But when he spoke, you could see the twinkle in his eyes, the humor in his voice.
I memorized the slightly more personal things about him. The way he cries, silently, with tears dripping down his face, his features, the shape, size of his hands, the length of his fingers, his lifelines, his everything.
And his eyes, his eyes.
His eyes were green, the kind that makes you think of the times when you played with your friends by the river, laughing, playing, when you were a child, when you had no worries. His eyes were clear, so pure,so innocent, it was like staring into a bottomless lake. You could not see any trace of emotion behind those eyes unless you were staring right into them. Only then could you see the fragility, the hurt behind those orbs. Inside those eyes were small flecks of gold, like rays of light. Those eyes, those beautiful green eyes, they were like-
His eyes were like the ocean. One look and I drown.
