We Are Fairy Tail
by Autumn Win-Dow
Your guilds are temporary, you die along with your Guild Master. But we, Fairy Tail - no matter what happens, we will survive whatever you throw at us. Because our Guild Master sure as hell won't die - we'll be there to fight with him when the time comes.
We are not a guild - we are a family.
We are Fairy Tail.
There he was, her pyromaniac childhood friend.
She couldn't contain her feelings - what were her feelings?
Lisanna was confused as to why Natsu was there, being held by the collar in Lucy's iron grip, muttering unheard apologies. The only thing she wasn't confused about in that situation was the fact that this Natsu wasn't the one who lived in Edo - he was Earth Natsu, her Natsu.
She held her fist close to her chest, and she could not ignore the quickening heart beat when Natsu turned to see her.
He was supposed to believe that she was dead! Gone from the world, never to be seen again, merely a distant memory, but there she was. There was no way she could maintain her facial expression as she heard him mutter her name in disbelief.
She had never been more thankful to Lucy, of whom attacked him once again for apparently admiring Lisanna's body, and she immediately took the chance to escape the hall.
Lisanna was a member of Fairy Tail, she had always told herself - it wasn't a lie, after all - but she knew deep down in her heart that it wasn't her Fairy Tail she was staying in. This Fairy Tail was where Edo Lisanna belonged - but no one could even find out about the fact that her alternate self had died long ago.
A member of Fairy Tail will do what they can to ensure their guild's happiness.
But what she had forgotten when she was transported to Edo was that by keeping a guild alive, she had monumentally wrecked another.
That was why she couldn't contain her third emotion - relief - when she saw Natsu safe, sound, and as excitable as ever.
I should've had faith in the guild for being stronger than me.
A/N: A random thing. I guess this is a flash fiction series. I'm just giving the FT fandom a go, since it's my first time writing for it. :)
So yes, hi. I'm Jess. And this collection is going to have different characters for different chapters, but with the same recurring theme.
