Mako, Bolin, Jinora, Ikki, and Opal were sitting in a restaurant nearby the spirit portal. The group of friends (and one couple, and two-thirds of siblings) were having a conversation. The subjects of the conversation ranged from the food,
"Am I the only one bothered by the fact that they advertise the spirit world as 'The first date of Korrasami'?" Mako asked.
"Not really, bro. Maybe you just can't believe that instead of fighting over you, they decided to get together themselves." Bolin answered.
"You two are both idiots," Jinora began, "The writing was all over the walls, It was inevitable that they'd get together."
"Yeah, I'm with Jinora on this one. Am I right? us air girls stick together!" Ikki high fived Jinora with near-perfect synchronisation.
"Hmm, maybe I should propose to Opal in there, what do you think Korra?" Bolin asked absent mindedly… "Ah! Korra… Asami… What are you two doing here?" He asked nervously as he backed away from the duo, as did Opal. Needless to say, the two of them were quite wary of the antics the two of them got into as of recent.
Bolin and Opal glanced at each other.
"Oh, I think it's romantic, what do you think sweetie?"
"It's very romantic, Korra. Ooh, maybe we can have our wedding in the spirit world?"
"That idea is brilliant!" Korra picked up her Fianée and spun her around.
"Ah! Korra put me down!" Asami yelled between giggles.
"Ah… Hi Mako." Korra exclaimed with an extra spring in her step.
"Uh, hi?"
"So, do you have a date for our wedding?" Asami asked cheerfully.
"Uh, no. I'm on security, remember?" Mako asked hesitantly.
"Oh, right. How about you Ikki? Anyone special in your life?" Korra asked playfully.
"Uh, no?" Ikki half asked, half answered.
"Hm, shame. You'll have to sit at the singles table." Korra teased.
"'Singles table'?" Mako asked, after gulping.
"Oh, yes. We decided to avoid the awkward dating discussions and weird talk like that. So we decided to have a couples table, and a singles table." Asami explained. "You'll be having a conversations with other single people."
"Uh…" Mako began.
"Don't worry, Ikki will be there to make things more comfortable." Korra said, comforting the firebender.
"But… We're going to be in the spirit world, what are we going to do?" Ikki asked, trying to change the subject.
Korra beamed, "Oh, we were thinking that Bolin and Opal would help us out. They helped out before..." She trailed off. "Oh, they're getting ready for the wedding!"
"How can you tell?" Ikki questioned.
"They're making a run towards the spirit portal, silly. Why else would they be running there?" Asami asked.
"I think I know why…" Jinora mumbled under her breath as she noticed Mako also running towards the portal as well.
