Karkat sighed as he closed out of Trollian, once again flustered after a conversation with Terezi. Something about that girl made her…perfect. Was it her vibrant teal blood? Her mannerisms? Her slim figure?
Karkat didn't quite know what it was, but one thing was certain.
He had fallen, head first, into a flaming flush-crush.
"Well fuck." he thought aloud. "I'm going to have to tell her eventually, so it might be a good idea to ask everyone what I should do…"
He reopened Trollian, and several chats later, Karkat was still unsure of what to do. 'Nepeta, Gamzee, Feferi, Sollux, and Vriska all said I should go for the direct approach and just tell her…it isn't that easy, dammit!" he though angrily as he leaned back into his chair. Karkat ran his hand through his messy locks and sighed heavily. Suddenly, he perked up and darted out the door, choosing to ignore Crabdad's shrieks of protest.
"Dear gog I really fucking hope the works" Karkat murmured to himself as he ran to Terezi's hive, the soft grass being flattened to the earth with each footstep.
After a good few minutes of running, Karkat arrived at Terezi's hive.
"Hey, Terezi! Get the fuck down here!" he called up at her hive, not bothering to climb up himself.
"What is it, Karkles?" Terezi shouted down at him, poking her head out of the doorway with her usual toothy grin.
"Just get down here!" he responded, rather nervously. Terezi exited her hive and made her way down to the ground, still grinning toothily.
As soon as she reached the bottom, Karkat darted over to her and pecked her swiftly on her lips. As he did so, they both blushed profusely.
As quickly as he kissed her, he pulled away. The kiss had not lasted more than a second, but both trolls were blushing darkly anyways.
Karkat turned on his heel and dashed back to his hive, leaving an awestruck Terezi behind him. "Karkles, wait!" she called after him, hoping to find out more about why he had just kissed her. She smiled, not her usual toothy grin, but a smile of pure delight. Her cheeks were dusted with a light teal again, and she cupped her cheeks with her hands and squealed.
